I had to drop off a bill at the post office and remembered that I also needed some stamps. I walked inside and saw there was no one in line. A poster on the wall showed the current stamps. I saw an Andrew Wyeth set that was nice and a set with a great white shark. I walked right up to the clerk who was a new employee. She was an African American woman in her 30's with a bored look on her face.
"I want to get some stamps. Can I get the Andrew Wyeth?"
"Nope" as she shook her head side to side.
"Sharks?"
"Nope. "
"Do you have anything cool? In your opinion" I asked.
She held up a set called "Flowers from the Garden"
"What else do you have?"
"All we have are "Flags", "Love" and "Flowers"
"Any deals on Christmas stamps?"
She finally smiled.
"I'll take "Flowers." Flowers are cool.
